What we do
JLD Music Video Edits edits music and performance footage: full-song cuts and full sets from live shows, music videos assembled from shoot footage, DJ set videos, and short promo clips cut to the bar. We work with bands, solo artists, DJs, venues and promoters who have the footage and need someone to cut it.
Who we work with
Most of our requests come from three groups. Bands and solo artists who filmed a show or a video shoot and want it cut for release. DJs with booth footage and a recorded mix. Venues and promoters who want recaps and announcement clips for the room's own accounts. Some jobs mix all three, such as a venue night with a band and a DJ on the same bill.
The footage can come from a hired crew, a friend with two cameras, or phones on the side of the stage. We'll tell you early what the material can and can't do, and suggest what to film differently next time.
How we work
Every live job is planned on a marked-up setlist, quoted in writing, reviewed on a link and delivered online. We don't publish prices because two shows of the same length can need very different amounts of work, depending on the cameras, the audio and the number of cuts.
What you won't find here
This site has no artist logos, quotes from clients or showreel of client work, because we don't publish footage without permission. The stills on the samples page are AI-generated and labeled that way, and the setlist sheets are illustrations. We have no connection to any record label, venue or media company.
