1. Handoff
You share a folder with the camera files, the audio and the setlist. A short note on what you want back saves a round of questions. A full handoff includes:
- The setlist or tracklist, with song titles in the order they were played
- Every camera file, plus phone clips from the crowd if you want them used
- The best audio you have: a board mix, a multitrack recording, the mixer's record out, or the master for a music video
- Which songs or moments you want cut, and in what shapes (wide, vertical, square)
- Show dates, ticket links or release dates for any text on screen, typed out exactly
- Your deadline, and who signs off on the edit
2. Sync
We line every camera and phone up with the main audio, check for drift across the set, and note any gaps where a camera stopped. This is when problems show up, such as a missing song or a distorted track, and we tell you about them before quoting.
3. Marked-up setlist and quote
You get the setlist back marked like the sheets above: which songs get full cuts, which moments become promo clips and how many bars long, and which tracks need a rights check. The written quote and delivery date come with it. Change the marks and the quote changes with them. Work starts when you accept.
4. First cuts
Full-song cuts and clips arrive on a review link, synced, color matched and mixed. You leave notes at exact moments, such as "stay on the drummer here" or "start this clip one bar later."
5. Changes and delivery
We make your changes and export each version in the shapes you asked for. Extra rounds beyond the quote are priced before we do them.
Filming tips for the next show
- Record the board, or the DJ mixer's master out, from the first song to the last
- Lock one camera on a wide shot that never moves
- Start every camera before the band walks on and leave them running
- Bring spare batteries and cards, since sets run long
- Ask the lighting person for a few seconds of full stage wash at the start, so color has a reference
Your footage
Footage and recordings are private and used only for your project. If part of the work goes to a production partner, they work under a confidentiality agreement. See the privacy policy.
